Jameson

He is my younger brother.  He was born in Hong Kong on 5 May 1953.  He passed away after a long and painful battle with throat cancer on 18 June 2013.  He was a good man and has done a lot for me and my family.  He left behind him, a wife Lucilla, a son and a daughter.  His daughter Shawna now has a son called Enzo.  His son Jeff has a son and daughter named Jamie and Sarah respectively.  Much to my regret, Jameson had never met his grand children.  At least, I have Tristan.

Not only was he a successful entrepreneur, he was an exceptional golfer.  His handicap hovered between single and double digits which is very rare for amateur golfer.

We have very different temperament.  We do not a lot of things in common to talk about.  When we met, we always had difficulties in striking up a conversation.  I do not have the same problem with Holly.  She and I would argue about anything and everything.

When Leland and Niles were still kids, their mother would bring them to HK for the summer.  These summers were always very memorable.  Everyone were there.  We had had a lot of funs, many parties.  But many of the parties ended up in fights.  Well, the next day, we started all again.  Those were the good days.

These days are gone.  Leland and Niles don’t come to HK anymore.  Jameson had passed away and so there is no one to pay for those expensive meals.  Holly had passed away and so there is no one to tell those funny jokes and kept everyone in line.  I remembered her best line (when she worked for United Airline) “I’ll be right back”.  This will never happen again.

I miss this guy dearly too.
